What: A $6,000 Scholarship to support your living expenses and housing during participation in research in the Summer 2024 semester. Work in a lab of your choosing at UIUC! Summer Scholars will also have the opportunity to travel to a research conference to present their accomplishments during the subsequent Fall semester!

Who: UIUC undergraduates who are Chem or ChBE majors and who belong to an underrepresented group (as defined by the NSF as African American, Native American, or LatinX).

Applications were due March 1 and recipients wil be announced soon!

Nominate your mentor to receive the Outstanding Mentor Award! The nomination deadline is 3/22/2024. This award comes with a $1,000 honorarium and the opportunity for them to present their research to the group!
